Introducing Riverside Homes Custom’s Newest Addition: Project Coordinator Victoria Wirtz

Categories: Meet the Team

Part of our commitment at Riverside Homes Custom is to provide our clients with a quality home and an exceptional experience. This exceptional experience would not be possible without our dedicated team of professionals that place customer service first. It was no surprise that our newest team member places the utmost importance on being customer service oriented in both business and personal interactions. In fact, we think custom care runs through her blood! We are proud to introduce the most recent addition to our Riverside Homes Custom team; our new Project Coordinator, Victoria Wirtz!

When asked about how she ended up in Florida, Victoria jokes, “You could say I’m still on spring break! I traveled to Ponte Vedra Beach to visit my aunt during spring break of my senior year of college, and never looked back.” After receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from The University of Akron, she began her professional career working as a Sales Design Consultant at Ebel, a well-respected wholesale manufacturer of high-end outdoor furnishings. With an eye for design, her love of the perfect Florida patio, and her natural customer service ability, Victoria was quickly promoted and became the store manager for Ebel subsidiary, Florida Backyard Furnishing by Ebel.

After nearly a decade in the outdoor furniture industry, setting multiple sales and customer service records for the company, Victoria found herself searching for the next step in her career. At the same time, here at Riverside Homes we found the need for a new role to assist us in the coordination and management of our new projects. Victoria came highly recommended to us for this role, and after meeting her we knew she was perfect for it! As Project Coordinator, Victoria tackles many different tasks on a day-to-day basis. Victoria reiterated that she “will be exactly where she’s wanted or needed to be”. As an integral part of the team, Victoria works both in the foreground and behind the scenes. She ensures that everything is in place as we begin a new project, ensuring that all checks and balances are set as we move through the process of a custom home build. Victoria still gets to use her “exterior design” experience when she meets with customers to discuss their vision for the exterior finishes and details of the home. “Customers don’t realize all that happens behind the scenes, or why we need to pick out paint colors before we have permit.  My role is to help clients stay up to date and engaged with the status of their custom home, and I love being able to share with our customers the excitement of watching their vision come to life”.

“Victoria was the missing piece to our jigsaw puzzle. Her ability to jump in where needed to fill any void and to ensure that our homebuyers have an enjoyable home building experience from beginning to the end, and even after completion is invaluable. She is constantly pulled in so many directions but her versatility, work ethic and permeating passion for the industry make her a valuable asset to our Riverside Homes Custom team,” shared Matt Birdwell, President of Riverside Homes Custom.
